Investigative Committee employees' wages skyrocket by secret Putin's decree

In the next three years, an additional 16.5 billion rubles will be allocated for salaries to department staff.

In 2020-2022, ICR employees' wages will rise by 20%, Dozhd reports citing sources in the Russian government. The decree on this will be released under the heading for official use and will not appear in the public domain.

According to Dozhd, in the next three years, an additional 16.5 billion rubles will be allocated for salaries to employees of the department, that is, 5.5 billion rubles a year. Thus, the average amount of payments to investigators by 2022 will increase by 20% - from 110 thousand to 130 thousand rubles.

Salaries to judges, law enforcement officers, and senior officials are appointed by order of Vladimir Putin. No documents are indicating the future increase in the public domain. Additional funds allocated for salaries of ICR employees are mentioned in reports published by the Ministry of Finance to the draft budget for 2020–2022.

According to Dozhd, the salaries of other security officials are likely to remain at the same level. The increase in deductions from the budget is associated with inflation, material support, and pensions.
