Inspector saved choking woman before famously stopping traffic for a dog to cross the street
The Chelyabinsk Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is going to hold a press conference with the renowned officer.
Sergei Milyukov, 39, police senior lieutenant, who helped a lame dog cross the road, rescued a choking woman with his partner last December. The policemen provided first aid to the Chelyabinsk resident and escorted a car with her to the hospital. The regional administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is going to hold a press conference with the renowned officer, reports 74.ru.
“One of the inspectors got in the car and started giving the woman first aid, and the second one drove the service car accompanying her to the nearest hospital. Within a few minutes, the passenger car, accompanied by the traffic police crew, arrived at the emergency department, and the officers handed the woman over to the medical staff on the porch,” the police said commenting on the good deed that Milyukov and police lieutenant Vladislav Kostyukevich had done.
The policemen give no comments since law enforcement officers are prohibited from talking to the press without the press service present. We only know that Milyukov is married and has a little daughter.
It concerns entrepreneur Dmitry Motorin, Boris Usherovich, a co-owner of the Group of Companies 1520, and Novoe Vremya board member, Ivan Stankevich. Motorin is accused of giving a bribe on an especially large scale, and Stankevich and Usherovich are charged with bribe-taking.
This week, the judicial debates in the trial of Vladimir Barsukov-Kumarin charged with creation of Tambovskie organized criminal group have been finished in the Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg. If the court upholds the stance of the state prosecution, the once-influential criminal ‘authority’ may be convicted to almost 25 years behind bars. In reality, this translates into a life term for the legend of criminal St. Petersburg.
