The procedure is of voluntary nature.
According to Region Online, the Ingush Interior Ministry was engaged in collecting fingerprints of all the inhabitants of the region. At the moment, the procedure is voluntary. The press service explained that people would help the police to identify people injured in road accidents, natural disasters, and any other accidents.
