Heads of FSB, the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Prosecutor General's Office report on income
Chayka’s earnings fell to the figures of 2016.
Senior officials of the Federal Security Service (FSB), the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) and the Prosecutor General's Office reported their income for the past year. The relevant declarations are published on the websites of the bodies. No one could overtake the family of the FSO head.
As the CrimeRussia previously wrote, the head of the FSO, Dmitry Kochnev, and his wife, Marina Medvedeva, replenished the family budget by more than 100 million rubles ($ 1,5 million), with 90% of the income accounted for Medvedeva.
The FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov declared 11.4 million rubles ($ 176,000) for 2018 compared to 10.9 million ($ 168,000) in 2017. His wife earned 332,000 rubles ($ 5,000), follows from the declaration.
The SVR head head, Sergey Naryshkin, received 9.4 million rubles ($ 145,000) in 2018 against 8.8 million ($ 136,000) a year earlier. His spouse’s income amounted to 2.5 million rubles ($ 38,000).
Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Yuri Chayka reported about 9.1 million rubles ($ 140,000), which is 20% less than in 2017, and approximately equals to income in 2016. The income of his spouse has also decreased – from 8.2 million rubles ($ 126,000) to 2.76 million ($ 42,000).
