Head of Kaliningrad Public Chamber tells about her pension
The NGO director called for a new reform of the pension system.
Chairwoman of the Public Chamber of the Kaliningrad Region and director of the NGO Center for Housing Education Olga Arintseva said that her pension was shocking, but relatively high. Arintseva said that she could not get through received 16,000 rubles ($ 255) that she monthly receives and called for reforming the pension system.
“I have a work experience of nearly 35 years. You know, when I saw the calculated pension, I felt bad – a little more than 16 thousand,” KGD.ru quotes Arintseva as saying.
According to Arintseva, her acquaintances explained to her that her pension was “great for modern times.” “So if I leave work now, stop earning, I would not be able to live for 16,000 rubles,” the head of the regional Public Chamber assured. According to her, “at least because of this alone, the pension system needs to be changed.”
