The aggregate income of Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin, amounted to 7.955 million rubles ($139.700) in 2016. It follows from the declaration posted on the department's website.
In comparison with the previous year, Bastrykin's income decreased by 462 thousand rubles (in 2015, it was 8.417 million rubles, which is $148.587).
At the same time, the income of the official’s spouse has grown to reach 4.066 million ($70.750) in 2016 against 3.852 million rubles ($67.218) a year earlier.
Neither Bastrykin, nor his wife own a car, according to the declaration. The Head of the ICR, his wife and their two minor children have an apartment of 216 square meters in joint ownership. In addition, the family is using an apartment (224.4 sq. m.) and two cottages (294 and 138 sq. m.).
