Head of Central Court of Chelyabinsk deprived of powers after colleagues’ complaints
The judges reported pressure from the chairman, as well as illegal orders issued by her.
The Qualification Board of Judges of the Chelyabinsk Region terminated the powers of the chairwoman of the Central District Court of the regional capital, Ramziya Lutfulloyeva. and brought her to disciplinary responsibility, the website of the board reports. At that, the Judge Lutfulloyeva retained her status, Znak.com writes. The decision was made after complaints from her colleagues about illegal orders and pressure in investigations of high-profile criminal cases.
The Board planned to address the issue of Lutfulloyeva’s resignation on January 18, but the meetings were repeatedly postponed. The latter considers the complaints against her to be frivolous and connected with the change of the regional court’s chairman.
The former head of the regional court saw Lutfulloyeva as his deputy, but he was replaced by Sergey Minin, who allegedly openly declared that he did not want her in his court. After that, the subordinates’ complaints starting popping up. On February 11, the All-Russian Board of Judges refused to agree on Lutfulloyeva’s candidacy for the post of deputy chairman of the Chelyabinsk Regional Court.
Former Head of the Losino-Petrovsky district of the Moscow region, Oleg Fetyukov, did not enjoy his power in the local administration for a long time. Just a year after his appointment, the long-term deputy of Andrey Vikharev voluntarily resigned. The courageous step did not save Fetyukov from arrest. Immediately after this, a number of media outlets stated that Fetyukov was “set up”– the charges seem too small to his defenders. The enemies attributed to Fetyukov did not achieve too much either. So whom does the ex-head of Losino-Petrovsky “replace” under investigation and how long will the investigators be content with the replacement?
