Head of Barvikha locks himself in City Hall after dismissal and without letting anyone in
The new manager accused the rebel of embezzling documents to make changes to the Unified State Register.
In Barvikha, the acting head of the administration, German Potapchuk, after being dismissed, locked himself in the City Hall and refused to let in both the police with the rescuers, and the new manager, Konstantin Gavrikov, as well as other administration staff, Odintsovo-Info reports. Gavrikov claims that Potapchuk stole certain documents from the mayor's office necessary to make changes to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
On April 19, the head of Barvikha and the Council of Deputies made a decision to dismiss Potapchuk with the wording for “unfair execution of official duties”, “loss of trust” and “complete incompetency.” According to the Baza project, the Odintsovo City Court of the Moscow Region found Potapchuk’s dismissal illegal.
