Grozny: Special operation was held under personal control of Kadyrov
A special operation to eliminate militants suspected of attacking the policemen was held under personal control of Chechnya Head Ramzan Kadyrov, as he reported to journalists.
According a newspaper, the leader of the Republic "managed the operation on the site." As a result of the operation, five militants have been eliminated, told Kadyrov. A weapon, which had been taken from the policeman, was found and seized from the attackers.
Kadyrov called actions of officers, who participated in the operation, "extremely competent". This is what helped to eliminate the group, according to the leader of the region.
As Kadyrov said, the operation was held "a few kilometers from Grozny, in the forested and mountainous terrain."
Up to now, identity of all the militants killed is being established, reported the Head of Chechnya.
Earlier, on December 18, RIA Novosti source in the police said that the suspects in the attack on police officers were blocked in Staropromyslovskiy district of Grozny. TASS reported on another tree attackers being searched. Earlier, Kadyrov reported on elimination of four attackers and two militants wounded.
Lieutenant General Oleg Troshin announced he is going to retire in May 2018. He is doing it following a decision taken a year ago – not due to non-existent issues with the agency reported by some local media outlets.
A serious and not at all political clash of interests is taking place at the Russian Federation Council. Kamchatka senators Valery Ponomarev and Boris Nevzorov are failing at deciding how to divide the Kamchatka water resources; both men make millions of dollars off of them every year.
