Glatskikh aka "no one asked you to have kids" back at work receiving people
Earlier, Glatskikh said that the state owed nothing to young adults, for which she was suspended and then reinstated as director of the youth policy department for the Sverdlovsk region. She will be working there for two months before the department is liquidated.
Olga Glatskikh, director of the youth policy department for the Sverdlovsk region, returned to her office on December 12 and receives people as before, reports URA.Ru. According to the newspaper, only journalists have been able to get a meeting with the official so far.
The agency’s correspondent reported that Glatskikh had started her reception hours at 9 am, but appointments were only available starting from 1 pm. Information about the appointments was only available on the department website, and the time was not stated on the main page. A sign on the office door banned cell phones and recording devices inside.
On December 11, the Sverdlovsk Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev reinstated Glatskikh as director of the regional youth policy department. She will be working there for two months before the department is liquidated.
The governor also reprimanded the official for “inappropriate statements on the state policy on children and youth” during a Kirovograd meeting with people.
Olga Glatskikh got into the spotlight after her Kirovograd meeting with volunteers on November 5, when she said that the state owed nothing to young adults, since “it didn’t ask them to have kids”. The official was temporarily suspended from her duties, and it was decided to reorganize the department.
