For refusal to Roskomnadzor aggregators may now face penalties up to 1 million rubles
Department approved new rules of collection of penalties for non-execution of the requirement for removal of unreliable information.
The penalty for aggregators for refusal to delete information recognized doubtful or counterfeited by Roskomnadzor, can now constitute one million rubles. This was reported on the website of the department.
New technology of work of Roskomnadzor with aggregators, possibilities of the analysis of content, its handling and examination are described in the document. Besides, the new instruction for filling of necessary papers is attached: in the form it is necessary to specify the address of the page and data on information resource by means of which doubtful news extends.
In case of refusal to carry out instructions of Roskomnadzor the aggregator may face a penalty at the rate from 600 thousand to one million rubles.
On January 1 the law on feature of distribution of information by news Internet aggregators which attendance exceeds one million users a day came into force. Now responsibility for reliability of information published by services lies directly on them.
