Ex-Head of Bashneft might become member of Transneft board of directors
One of the ministries proposed Alexander Korsikov, who left the presidency of Bashneft immediately after the sale, to the position of a board member of another oil company.
Former Head of Bashneft Alexander Korsikov may soon become part of Transneft's board of directors, RBC says citing sources. According to the source, an initiative of the new appointment of Korsikov comes from one of the ministries.
However, the Ministry of Economic Development does not comment on the situation. In turn, the representative of Roskomimuschestvo (creates lists for election to the boards of directors of state companies) tells RBC that it is early to comment on specific names in connection with the nomination to the Board of Directors.
Add that to Korsikov served as Bashneft's President from 2011 to October 13, 2016. After the deal with Rosneft he was replaced by Vice President of Sechin Andrey Shishkin.
