The General Procurator’s Office drew first conclusions of a hotline’s work, which was opened for bissnessmen’s applications.
According to statistics of the General Prosecutor's Office, most entrepreneurs complained about the violation of their rights. About 70% of all appeals were complaints on the raider attacks and other illegal actions of pecuniary character as well as prosecution-related issues.
Hotline for entrepreneurship was presented by Yuri Chaika on International Economic Forum, which was held in St. Petersburg in June 2016. According to the supervisory authority, from the date of the announcement of a new format of communication with Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation it was received more than 100 letters in the e-mail address email@example.comоv.ru.
A consideration of entrepreneurship’s letters is personally overseen by the Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika. After an initial study of consideration authorized officers disperse applications depending on the topic and then applications direct to specialized divisions of General Prosecutor's Office or prosecutors of regions. After a detailed consideration the prosecutor's office can take response measures.
One of the cases, which required the intervention of the Prosecutor General, was the situation in the Primorsky Region. At the end of June the application from a local private entrepreneur was received on hotline. Businessman complained to officials, who had inspected the land leased by him for the construction of the recreation center. At the same time, according to the businessman, the examination, carried out by the authority powers of urban locality Slavyansk, was made without reasonable grounds and in the end of the examination they did not provide him an report on findings.
The prosecutor's office carried out its examination and passed on recommendation to the Head of urban locality, in which it was demanded to eliminate all violations.
With regard to examining public person an administrative proceeding under Part 2 of Article 19.6.1 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Russian Federation (Failure of Officials of the State Control (Supervision) Bodies to Satisfy the Requirements of the Legislation on the State Control (Supervision) was initiated.
The General Prosecutor's Office has stressed that the hotline does not repeal a traditional system of citizens’ resorts.
