Detained Shakro Molodoy MID Division is disbanded
Investigators of several MID divisions received notice of dismissal.
Investigators of the 8th Division of the Main Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow were dismissed en bloc by order of heads. In addition, investigators of several other divisions, which inquire resonant criminal cases in the metropolitan police, were removed from the staff, according to Life, citing a source in law enforcement. According to him, the investigator of the 8th Division requested the arrest of the kingpin Zakhar Kalashov (Shakro Molodoy). In the same divisionit was conducted a case of extortion 8 million rubles from the owner of the Elements restaurant in Moscow.
However, it noted that the dismissal is not connected with the high-profile case of criminal authorities. Police management plans to create an unified department to investigate high-profile cases. Investigators are offered new contracts with the preservation of positions and salaries, the source said. There will be also reorganized other institutions of the Moscow Police.
Recall that after the arrest of senior investigators the reorganization started in the Investigation Committee. As a result, some departments became divisions. In particular, it is talked about the elimination of the Main Directorate for Interdepartmental Liaison and Internal Security of the ICR, which ex-leaders are in the pre-trial detention center jail Lefortovo. It is expected that it will enter into the framework of the pre-existing Department of physical protection of executives and and investigators, who are in danger. On the eve the official representative of the ICR Vladimir Markin said that the reorganization, taking place in present time in the department, is not related to criminal cases against Denis Nikandrov, Mikhail Maksimenko and Aleksandr Lamonov.
