Deputy Prime Minister Trutnev's press service explained his record earnings of $8.2 m
It is reported that the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in the Far East earned upwards of 538 million rubles ($8.2 m) on the sale of real estate and securities.
The press service of the Vice-Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yury Trutnev, stated that in 2018 he earned over 538 million rubles ($8.2 m) from the sale of real estate and securities, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, a number of Telegram channels published Trutnev’s income statement for the past year. According to this declaration, he was the richest member of the Russian government, and his income has been growing steadily since 2004.
“The main revenues in 2018 were generated from the sale of real estate owned by the Vice-Prime Minister, as well as from the sale of securities held in trust,” said Trutnev’s press secretary Timur Chernyshev. He added that the Vice-Prime Minister completely left the securities he owned.
