Department of Ural official who said “state did not ask you to give birth” gets liquidated
Olga Glatskikh is now unemployed.
Governor of the Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev has signed a decree on the liquidation of the regional Ministry of General and Vocational Education and the Department of Youth Policy in the region and their replacement with a new executive body – the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk region. Thus, the scandalous official Olga Glatskikh, who headed the liquidated structure, is now unemployed.
The regional government explained that the measure is connected with “an increase in the efficiency of the activities of state bodies, to which a government meeting was dedicated.” The region head made this decision back on November 29.
At the same time, a few days ago, the media wrote that Glatskikh would be promoted – allegedly, she was to be appointed vice-governor of the Sakhalin region.
As previously reported by The CrimeRussia, Olga Glatskikh became infamous for her statement at one of the press conferences that “the state does not ask anyone to give birth and owes nothing to young people.” In her recent interview, Glatskikh said she was not going to resign, yet regretted her statement.
Six months ago, no one could predict the state of the MIA General Administration for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region by the time of the forthcoming elections. After the appointment of Moscow general Roman Plugin in charge of it, the St. Petersburg police has undergone significant changes. Major general of justice Oleg Antropov, Head of the Main Investigations Directorate, is ‘the last man standing’ from the old command of the MIA General Administration. Most probably, he is going to become the next victim of ‘janitor’ Plugin.
