Chechen artists must get an approval for their repertoire from various committees and councils. This has been stated by the Minister of Culture of the Republic Khoj-Baudi Daaev during the meeting with vocalists of state institutions.
“Issues related to development of repertoire of each singer and necessity to get an approval for lyrics from the expert board were discussed,” Daaev wrote on Instagram.
Besides that, the official noted that singers must toe the line of “ethical norms on social networks.” “Cultural worker ought to select the uploaded content thoughtfully. They are representatives of the national culture and provide an example to the younger generation,” Daaev’s Instagram states.
