Before resignation, Kursk Region governor provided himself with ‘golden parachute’
The official provided himself with a administration’s garage and a personal security guard.
The day before a resignation, the governor of the Kursk Region, Alexander Mikhailov, issued a decree on additional guarantees for himself. In particular, Mikhailov provided himself with a garage belonging to the administration, free pass to the building of the House of Soviets and free visit of the new head of the region, personal security for a year, as well as spending for his funeral with.
Mikhailov resigned on October 11. He had been serving as the governor of the Kursk Region for 18 years and has already reached retirement age: Mikhailov is 67 years old. On the same day, the heads of Bashkiria and the Trans-Baikal Territory also resigned.
