Aman Tuleev undergoes rehabilitation in Moscow hospital, returns to Kemerovo
August 12, Head of Kuzbass (Kemerovo region) Aman Tuleev landed in the Kemerovo airport.
The governor had flown to Moscow from Kemerovo on an unscheduled flight. Several police cars and an ambulance met him, according to the local media. Moreover, Deputy Governor for Healthcare Valery Tsoy was there, too.
Aman Tuleev came to Moscow to undergo rehabilitation in a local hospital after a spine surgery done in Germany, as reported earlier by the CrimeRussia.
The politician stayed in the Kemerovo Hospital No. 3 after the surgery for a while before being transferred to Moscow for rehabilitation.
Aman Tuleev took a 10-day medical leave on May 22 but later extended it until June 19. He did not make any public appearances during this period. Rumor had it he might not get back from vacation and resign. However, the Kemerovo region Administration office of public affairs refuted the rumor and stated Tuleev is in good condition.
It is worth mentioning that the police is going to question Aman Tuleev as a witness in an extortion case. May we remind you that the police arrested Kemerovo Region Deputy Governors Aleksey Ivanov and Aleksandr Danilchenko and Russian Investigative Committee Kemerovo Region Department Sergey Kalinkin for alleged extortion in November of 2016. Tuleev said it is an attempt to put pressure on him.
Police officers took Kristina Morozova to a police station to check her identity, where she ended up getting a closed craniocerebral injury, minor cerebral contusion, fissure fracture of her cheekbone, fracture of her left sphenoid bone, and large leg bruise.
Viktor Trutnev, ex-Head of the Moscow Criminal Investigation Department, has finished his career ‘in style’ – he went to jail. The Moscow Garrison Military Court has recently detained the retired general for the duration of the investigation. The former police commander is accused of mediation in bribery and bribe extortion. Trutnev was turned in by his former accomplices – FSB officers trying to extort 3 million rubles ($52.3 thousand) from the Director of Snegirev Research Technological Institute in exchange for covering up violations identified at the enterprise.
