In the Republic of Dagestan, 280 unfinished objects worth about 21 billion rubles ($324 million) have been found. This was reported by the Accounts Chamber of Dagestan, which exposed the extent of suspended construction for 2018.

“Of these, there are 156 objects with a construction duration of 8 to 30 years worth 18 billion 26 million rubles ($281 million),” Accounts Chamber Representative, Bilal Dzhakhbarov, said.

The suspended construction facilities include 66 schools and kindergartens and 24 health institutions.

“To this end, we believe that it is necessary to attract investments. Facilities, the readiness of which is more than 70%, can be included in the next plan and financed. In addition, they need to be included in the investment process, that is, we have to make offers to investors,” the Accounts Chamber representative said.

According to TASS, the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus volunteered to help with the unfinished projects.
