$766 thousand to be spent on cleaning of ‘Kadyrov’s palace’

Chechnya authorities have published a tender on cleaning of an area inside the ‘palace’ of the Republic’s head Ramzan Kadyrov. The contract is being amounted to 51.1 million rubles ($766 thousand). The lot has been published on the government procurement’s web site.
According to the tender, municipal-domestic service is needed in an administrative complex situated on Grozny’s Tbilisskaya street. The outcome of the auction is to be announced on December 17. The winner of the auction will have to clean the carpets, water the plants, as well as wash the building’s face 4 times a year. The client’s specific request is that the service provider must be between 18 and 40 of age. In 2012, Novazya gazeta reported that Kadyrov - besides his official residency - owns a ‘palace’ near the Sunzha river. The area of the house and surrounding grounds is 260 thousand square meters. The construction of this complex had been estimated in the media at 10 billion rubles ($150 million).
