40 judges of Krasnodar Regional Court refuse to provide income declaration
Few of their colleagues, who did publish information, earned more than 10 million rubles ($160,460) over the past year.
The Chairman of the Krasnodar Regional Court was the only judge to submit his income declaration, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports.
According to the declaration, the Chairman of the Krasnodar Regional Court does not a car, plot of land, or house; he only has a quarter of an apartment with an area of 142 sq.m in use. In 2017, Aleksandr Chernov’s income was 4.18 million rubles ($67,072), which is slightly less than a year earlier.
It is noteworthy that most of his colleagues – 40 judges of the Krasnodar Regional Court – have refused to submit their declarations. The publication lists their names - Viktoriya Agibalova, Lyudmila Bagriy, Vladimir Baklanov, Igor Basov, Aleksey Bendyuk, Viktor Bliznetsov, Sergey Salikov, Vyacheslav Sidorov, Evgeny Smirnov, Svetlana Strygina, Yuliya Buglak, Denis Vnukov, Irina Vorobyova, Irina Kombarova, Yulia Kostetskaya, Gennady Kurdakov, Vadim Kuksa, Vladimir Lazovsky, Vladislav Lopushansky, Galina Malakhay, Oleg Metov, Olga Moiseeva, Igor Nikolaychuk, Natalya Golysheva, Vladmir Denisenko, Vladimir Dzyubenko, Aleksandr Doroshenko, Vadim Zenin, Tatyana Ziborova, Aleksey Ivanov, Dmitry Kazakov, Yury Kalashnikov, Vitaliy Odintsov, Mikhail Pavlychev, Ekaterina Popova, Vladimir Redchenko, Oleg Talinskiy, Elena Tsekhomskaya, Elena Shandrina, and Valery Sheludko.
Meanwhile, some judges have made their incomes public.
Judge Viktoria Beketova (she is very well known in the Kuban; Vladimir Beketov was in charge of the Legislative Assembly for 22 years) increased her annual income by 10 million rubles ($160,460), earning a total of 12.3 million rubles ($197,365) during the reporting period. Last year, Beketova bought an apartment with an area of 109.4 sq.m through the sale of an apartment and loan funds. The income of Judge Anzhelika Rybina increased significantly – from 2 million rubles ($32,092) in 2016 to 11.2 ($179,715) last year. The judge moved from an apartment of 122.2 sq.m to a new one, with an area of 110.9 sq.m. In addition, the judge changed her Audi Q3 to Lexus NT-200T.
