14 candidates for membership in State Assembly of Altai Republic have criminal records
In 30 majority constituencies, 236 candidates are nominated.
Last Friday, candidates for the State Assembly were nominated in the Altai Republic. 15 political parties presented their candidates. 13 political organizations nominated candidates not only for single-mandate constituencies, but also for party lists, Novosti Gornogo Altaya reports.
In total, 236 candidates are nominated in 30 majority constituencies. There are candidates from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the LDPR, Patriots of Russia, the KPSS, Parnas, Partiya Rosta, Zelenye, United Russia, Za Spravedlivost, Rodina, and others. 73 candidates are self-nominated.
Among the candidates, 14 people have a criminal record. Most of them run for district No. 9 (Kalibek Bugulbaev, Urmat Knyazev, Roman Tadyrov, and Aleksey Shonkhorov). Convicted candidates were nominated by Rodina (Ilya Kategov), Partiya Dela (Aleksey Shonkhorov), Partiya Vozrozhdeniya Rossii (Pavel Zyablitsky), and LDPR (Yury Samtashev and Mikhail Sidorchuk).
The registration of candidates for deputies will be completed by July 31.
