Unknown steals $100.000 from Moscow Sberbank
The lender’s client, who kept money in a cell, contacted the police.
An unknown person stole more than 6 million rubles ($100.000) from a safe in one of the offices of Moscow Sberbank. The investigating authorities initiated a criminal case over Theft on a particularly large scale (part 4 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), TASS reports.
The case was initiated at the request of an entrepreneur, from whose safe deposit box money was missing. According to him, a plastic box with $50 thousand and 3 million rubles was stored in the deposit box on Vyazemskaya Street. Material damage amounted to about 6.3 million rubles.
The management of the credit institution sent a recording from a video surveillance camera and provides all possible assistance in the investigation.
