FSB operatives have detained Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Makhachkala Vladimir Anastasov in St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport.
This is reported by Chernovik referring to security agencies of Dagestan.
According to the publication, Anastasov was detained by siloviki when trying to flee abroad. TASS source in law enforcement bodies that confirmed Anastasov’s detention noted that the top manager was going to leave for Dagestan and was receiving treatment in St. Petersburg.

To recall, in early November 2018, the building of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Makhachkala was searched. Operative measure took place in the office of Head of the enterprise Vladimir Anastasov. According to TASS, the investigative actions were connected with illegal charging of debts to subscribers, as a result of which damage from actions of unidentified persons amounted to 11 million rubles ($164,609).
Presumably, it concerns the US response to Ukraine’s help in the investigation against Joseph Biden, Trump’s main rival in the 2020 presidential election, who allegedly was in collusion with Kiev during the previous campaign.
