Security forces searched staff of Navalny’s headquarters
Investigative actions took place in Perm, Samara, Ufa and Saransk.
Law enforcement agencies carried out searches with the seizure of equipment and documents from the staff of Alexey Navalny’s headquarters and their relatives in Perm, Samara, Ufa and Saransk, the head of the federal HQ Leonid Volkov reports. The investigative actions were carried out as part of a criminal case on the laundering of 1 billion rubles ($ 15,2 million).
The searches were carried out at the house of the head of the Samara headquarters, Yegor Alasheev, the coordinator of the Perm headquarters, Sergey Ukhov, and the employee of this headquarters, Yuri Bobrov, the coordinator of the Ufa headquarters, Lilia Chanysheva, Volkov told Kommersant. The searches were also held at Navalny’s supporters in Saransk and Chelyabinsk, the head of the international human rights group Agora, Pavel Chikov, wrote on his Telegram channel.
Two adults and three children became infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) during treatment in a hospital in the Stavropol city of Budyonnovsk in 2018, Interfax reports with reference to the regional Ministry of Health.
