Renova put together report on activity of T Plus in 16 Russian regions
The company emphasizes that it is ready to cooperate with the investigation.
The group of companies Renova has put together a report on the activities of the T Plus in 16 regions of the country, including the Republic of Komi. Thus, the holding’s management stresses its readiness to cooperate with the law enforcement authorities in the investigation of multi-million dollar bribes to former officials of the Republic of Komi. A separate item in the documentation prepared highlights the interaction with the authorities at various levels says Renova in its message.
Earlier, the two detained top managers of the company - the CEO of the PJSC T Plus Boris Vainzikher and the co-owner of Renova Evgeny Olkhovik - were charged with giving a particularly large bribe to the former head of the Region. Another person involved in the case, the former CEO of VimpelCom Mikhail Slobodin, was put on the federal wanted list. As the investigators found out, the businessman is outside the Russian Federation.
According to the investigators, during the period from 2007 to 2014, the top managers of the CJSC IES Olkhovik, Vainzikher and Slobodin gave bribes in the form of money and valuable assets to the former officials of the Republic of Komi for establishing of favorable conditions of work. According to the investigation, the total amount of bribes is 800 million rubles.
The Greek Areopagus upheld the decision of the court in Thessaloniki to extradite Russian Alexander Vinnik, who is considered the owner of the BTC-e crypto-exchange. RBC magazine found other of its possible beneficiaries and found out what Vinnik was doing.
