Police officer steals service boat in Tuapse
He told his chiefs the boat had been taken away during high water.
Criminal case into swindling with abuse of powers has been initiated against a police officer in Krasnodar region’s town of Tuapse: the law enforcer is being suspected of theft of a service boat, reports the Investigative Committee of Russia in Krasnodar region.
The investigation assumes the law enforcement representative stole a Strizh boat in October-December, last year, when it was heavily raining in the region. After that, he told the boat had been taken away during the flood and had been maintaining a semblance of the search of the boat. With that, the boat was in its entirety and good condition in a garage of a seaport.
The investigation concluded the damage from his actions had been more than 730 thousand rubles ($11 thousand), the officer was fired from service following the inspection. At the present time, the measure of restraint is being considered.
