Omskgorgaz Director General and Aktsiya Holding Company Head detained and convoyed to Moscow
Irina Sheblova and Irina Pakhotina are named in a fraud case.
The General Director of Omskgorgaz JSC Irina Sheblova and the Head of Aktsiya Holding Company LLC Irina Pakhotina were detained by law enforcement officers on charges of fraud and convoyed to Moscow.
Sheblova, writes Kommersant, is detained for 72 hours, while Pakhotina has already been placed under house arrest by the decision of Moscow Basmanny court.
According to the investigation, both women became accomplices to the defendants in a criminal case of fraud - the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aktsiya Holding Company Sergey Kalinin and the Director of Omskgazset LLC Alexander Orlov.
The latter’s involvement in the crime was established after searches at Omskgorgaz: it was for Orlov’s signature that documents indicating unreasonable gas transportation costs were sent to the Federal Tariff Service.
The case was opened on April 15, 2017 in Omsk. According to investigators, between 2011 and 2017, “large amounts of money was stolen from gas consumers due to the artificial inclusion of the costs of gas pipeline rent in the tariff of Omskgazset LLC”. The amount of damage is estimated at 1.4 billion rubles ($21.4 m).
