Nephew of former Head of Dagestan suspected of public funds' embezzlement
Within the investigation security officers searched the education department of Makhachkala.

According to the media, the investigation believes that the nephew of former Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov entered into a collision with officials of state public institution E&P Avtohozyaystvo and stole the money allocated to the enterprise for maintance of two official cars - Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and Mitsubishi Pajero. The amount of damage is not specified, however it is known that the crime was committed during the period from March, 2016 to July 2017.
Security officers carried out searches in the Education Department of Makhachkala within the investigation, financial documentation was withdrawn. The portal specifies that investigative events were held by employees of the Directorate for Economic Safety and Counteracting Corruption together with employees of the Administration of the Federal Security Service.
It should be added that the department is headed by Tagir Mansurov, the spouse of the niece of Dagestani former Head Ramazan Abdulatipov. Representatives of the department do not confirm the information on searches.
The General Director of Research and Production Complex (NPK) Dedal was detained when transferring the first part of the bribe in the amount of 2.5 million rubles ($37.9 thousand) in one of Simferopol restaurants.
The sons of the former head of the village of Balakhani, Untsukulsky district of Dagestan, Magomedrasul Yakubov, had troubles with the law. They were suspected of illegal arms trafficking and ties with militants.
The main suspect is Hand-To-Hand Fighting World Champion Shakhban Machiev wounded by the return fire of a National Guard officer, is in hospital; two others, the brothers Magomed and Khaskil Yakubov, are currently wanted by the police.
The document prepared on the instructions of Head of Government, Dmitry Medvedev, does not hide the intention of the Russian authorities to support Oleg Deripaska’s structures that fell under US sanctions.
