Nephew of former Head of Dagestan suspected of public funds' embezzlement
Within the investigation security officers searched the education department of Makhachkala.

According to the media, the investigation believes that the nephew of former Head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov entered into a collision with officials of state public institution E&P Avtohozyaystvo and stole the money allocated to the enterprise for maintance of two official cars - Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and Mitsubishi Pajero. The amount of damage is not specified, however it is known that the crime was committed during the period from March, 2016 to July 2017.
Security officers carried out searches in the Education Department of Makhachkala within the investigation, financial documentation was withdrawn. The portal specifies that investigative events were held by employees of the Directorate for Economic Safety and Counteracting Corruption together with employees of the Administration of the Federal Security Service.
It should be added that the department is headed by Tagir Mansurov, the spouse of the niece of Dagestani former Head Ramazan Abdulatipov. Representatives of the department do not confirm the information on searches.
