Moscow policemen of Konkovo PD suspected of links to real estate scammers
The real estate frauds were committed between 2010 and 2014.
Employees of the Konkovo PD, including high-ranking officials, are suspected of apartment frauds. The Investigative Committee, the FSB in Moscow and the Moscow region and the city administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Security Department searched the office.
As previously reported by the Telegram Channel Mash, three district police officers and the head of the duty unit, Andrei Petrushin, had been arrested. According to the channel, the police had been stealing people’s apartments for ten years, while according to others, the group operated from 2010 to 2014 and was associated with a gang of real estate scammers.
According to the Moscow office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, both former and current employees of the territorial police department are suspected of fraud. The officers are going to be interrogated. The Moscow MIA scheduled a service audit. Its findings will serve as grounds for the dismissal of the police officers.
