Moscow court arrested head of company-general contractor on ‘Putin's residence’ case
The director of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Ateks FSO Andrey Kaminov will spend two months in the pre-trial detention center.
The Basmanny Court on Wednesday, March 22, decided to arrest Head of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Ateks FSO Andrey Kaminov on the case of embezzlement of 225 million rubles ($3.9m) at construction of buildings in the territory of the residence of the Russian President in Novo-Ogaryovo.
According to the investigators, Kaminov, his former deputy Stanislav Kyuner, ex-CEO of CJSC Stroykomplekt Dmitry Torchinsky, and also three St. Petersburg businessmen – Andrey Rodionov, Sergey Perevalov and Sergey Litvinov concluded a collusion and received double payment by one of state orders for delivery of conditioners for the presidential complex.
As media reported, disclosure of the criminal scheme was promoted by the co-owner of Baltstroy construction company Dmitry Mikhalchenko arrested on the case of smuggling of expensive alcohol.
Lawyers of Oleg Korshunov, who is charged with a large fraud in organizing the production of footwear for prisoners, do not see corpus delicti in his case. The prisoners did get their shoes, and the difference in the cost of footwear made from leather and split leather is about 10%.
