Moscow City Court frees Colonel Zakharchenko’s fortuneteller Nona Mihai
Mihai was convicted in the Nota Bank embezzlement case.
The Moscow City Court released fortuneteller Nona Mihai, convicted in the case of 350-million-ruble embezzlement at Nota Bank, reported Moskovsky Komsomolets. The billionaire colonel Dmitry Zakharchenko was one of her clients.
Mihai pleaded guilty to complicity in embezzlement of funds at Nota Bank. Previously, she was sentenced to three and a half years in prison and a fine of 800 thousand rubles. The court gave her a credit of the time she spent in custody and under house arrest.
The Nota Bank case was related to the Zakharchenko case. According to investigators, in 2016 he warned top managers of the bank, Galina and Larisa Marchukov, about the upcoming searches and advised them to hide documents related to fraud in another company named Electrozavod.
The kid reasoned that his 70-year-old grandmother would suffer because of what he was going to do to himself and therefore decided to kill her. He stabbed the woman 21 times and finished her off with a hammer.
