Moscow City Court finds conviction of businessman Mikhalchenko in smuggling case legal
The sentence against the Forum head over the illegal import of elite alcohol expires April 19.
The sentence of the Basmanny Court of Moscow against president of the Forum holding Dmitry Mikhalchenko in the case of smuggling of elite alcohol the Moscow City Court upheld and declared lawful. The term of sentence expires on April 19 taking into account the SIZO term.
Mikhalchenko was sentenced to four years and seven months in prison. The sentence was reduced after the calculation: one day in a SIZO is equal to one and a half in a colony. However, Mikhalchenko was arrested until June 21 in the case of the organization of a criminal community and embezzlement during the construction of the residence of the President of the Russian Federation in Novo-Ogarevo.
The cadets have been found guilty of an Attempt at Murder by a Group of Persons by Previous Concert and for Mercenary Reasons (part 3 of Art. 30, part 2 of Art. 105 of the Russian Criminal Code). They do not plead guilty.
