Ishayev's daughter paid off Rosneft’s damage worth $88 thousand
The oil company suffered damage from criminal actions of the ex-Plenipotentiary and his accomplices.
The daughter of the former Governor of Khabarovsk Kray, Viktor Ishayev, Yulia transferred more than 5 million rubles ($76.7 thousand) to Rosneft’s account - the amount of damage that, according to investigators, was inflicted on the company by the criminal actions of the ex-Plenipotentiary and his associates. This was announced at the court hearing by the lawyer of Ishayev.
“Your honor, I ask you to add to the case file a payment order from Ishayeva Yulia indicating that she made a payment to the account of Rosneft PJSC on April 5 on the basis of compensation for possible damage in the amount of 5 million 744 thousand rubles ($88.2 thousand),” said lawyer Pavel Zaytsev.
As The CrimeRussia has previously written, Ishayev is charged with embezzlement of Rosneft funds.
In particular, the investigation believes that from 2014 to 2017, Ishayev secured the conclusion of lease agreements for premises of over 280 square meters for the needs of the company’s office in Khabarovsk Kray with a commercial organization belonging to him at an inflated value as a result of fraud and abuse of the trust of employees and management of the oil company. Ishayev was charged under part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Swindling on an especially large scale).
