Head of CFD Transport Police rear dismissed for concluding contract without tender
A check into the violation is underway.
Head of the MIA Transport Department rear in the Central Federal District Nikolay Chechun has been dismissed for signing a contract without a tender. This is reported by the department’s press service.
It is found that Chechun, taking advantage of his position, “concluded a contract for a range of major repair works without holding competitive procedures.” An internal check has been launched into the violation; however, an order to dismiss Chechun for negative reasons has already been signed by Head of the MIA Transport Department in the Central Federal District, Major-General of Police Oleg Kalinkin.
A procedural decision will be taken based on the check results, and Chechun will be held responsible.
In late May, a private Sud-Aviation Gazelle helicopter has crash-landed in the Khabarovsk krai. As a result, a 72-year-old man died from heart seizure. Another passenger has got a spinal fracture, while the third one – the pilot – came out of the accident with only a minor brain concussion. Later it became known that the deceased person was an FSB colonel general, the one with spinal fracture – a former overseer of the Khabarovsk krai, while a prominent Khabarovsk businessman had piloted the helicopter. The CrimeRussia obtained some exclusive information about this strange company.
