Head of capital Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography got demoted for duration of inspection
Igor Maydanov failed to confirm the expenditure of more than 72 million rubles, another 93 million rubles, according to the investigators, were spent unreasonably.
The Ministry of Economic Development has suspended the Head of the Moscow Rosreestr Igor Maydanov from his office. The audit found serious violations of the current legislation in the field of procurement and financial activities. Rosreestr reports that Maidanov evaded the necessary competitive procedures. Moreover, the former Head unnecessarily expended the federal budget: according to the investigation, more than 93 million rubles were spent without good reason. Maydanov is also unable to confirm the use of funds for payment of public contracts worth over 72 million rubles, and demonstrate the equipment supplied under the contract.
The result of the inspection of the Moscow Department of the Russian State Register and Igor Maydanov have been found unsatisfactory. Konstantin Mishchenko, the Head of the Rostov region Rosreestr, has been appointed as the temporary acting Head of the Moscow Department.
Maydanov held his post since February 20, 2015. Igor Vasilyev, the Head of Russian State Register, has not commented on the situation.
Lieutenant General Oleg Troshin announced he is going to retire in May 2018. He is doing it following a decision taken a year ago – not due to non-existent issues with the agency reported by some local media outlets.
A serious and not at all political clash of interests is taking place at the Russian Federation Council. Kamchatka senators Valery Ponomarev and Boris Nevzorov are failing at deciding how to divide the Kamchatka water resources; both men make millions of dollars off of them every year.
