FSB detains deputy head of Novocheboksarsk administration
The official is suspected of embezzlement of budget money on an especially large scale.
The FSB officers in Chuvashia detained Alexander Andriyanov, the deputy head of the Novocheboksarsk city administration for urban planning, housing and utilities and infrastructure, who was suspected of embezzling budget money on an especially large scale using his official position, the regional publication Pravda VFD reported, referring to sources in law enforcement bodies.
Before detaining the official, the FSB Directorate’s officers seized documents in building of the city administration. Andriyanov was taken to a temporary detention faclity in the Novoyuzhniy District of Cheboksary.
