Former head of enterprise of Roscosmos taken into custody for two months
More than $ 6,3 million were stolen during the reconstruction of stands in the Scientific Testing Center of the Rocket and Space Industry.
Moscow’s Zamoskvoretsky Court took the former acting CEO of NPO Tekhnomash, Dmitry Panov, into custody until June 24. Panov was suspected of embezzling 410.2 million rubles ($ 6,35 million) during the reconstruction of the stands of the Scientific Testing Center of the Rocket and Space Industry, RBC reports. Tekhnomash is the head enterprise of the Roscosmos state corporation.
Panov worked at Tekhnomash from 2012 to 2018. He was fired along with two advisers after the results of his activities, with which Rogozin familiarized, were checked. The company also underwent an internal audit, the results of which were sent to the Prosecutor’s Office.
