Ex-leader of Rodina Patriotic Association arrested for fraud
Dmitry Morshchikov failed to return his debt to an individual.
Dmitry Morshchikov, the former leader of the Rodina Patriotic Association and the former Director of the Tver Glass Factory, was detained in Moscow on fraud charges. The Moscow Crime Unit nabbed the suspect on Monday, March 4, RBC sources said. Morshchikov was arrested by the Tver court on March 6.
The criminal case is associated with obtaining a major loan from an individual, RBC insiders said. Officially, this information has not yet been commented on.
An arrest warrant for Morshchikov was issued in February 2018. He is a witness in the case of embezzlement of funds of Tver Glass Factory, whose General Director he was in the middle of 2010s.
