Ex-head of RusHydro appeals against his expulsion from Quadra Board of Directors
The lawyer of the former head of RusHydro Yevgeny Dod has filed a complaint against his defendant’s expulsion from the Board of Directors at Quadra Power Generation.
The attorney of the former CEO of RusHydro Yevgeny Dod, who stands accused of swindling in the amount of no less than 73.2 million rubles, has filed an appeal against his client’s ouster from the Board of Directors of the Quadra Power Generation Public Joint Stock Company. The court has not yet decided on the date, when the complaint is to be processed.
In June 2016, Yevgeny Dod and the RusHydro Chief accountant Dmitry Finkel were detained and then arrested for the period up to August 22. The investigation revealed that in 2013, Dod paid a premium of 353.21 million rubles to himself, exceeding the allowed amount by at least 73.2 million rubles. The investigators claim that Finkel was also involved in this fraudulent scheme, as well as some other unidentified persons.
Billionaire Viktor Vekselberg has repaid loans in the amount of $1 billion taken from the Western banks. Earlier, his Renova Group had received state support from Promsvyazbank. Renova representatives say they have repaid the loan with the company’s own funds.
