Deputy head of Federal Penitentiary Service Directorate in Saratov region suspected of swindling

It is reported that Aleksey Ryazantsev is suspected of frauds with service housing.

A criminal case of Swindling on an especially large scale (part 4 of Art. 159 of the Russian Criminal Code) has been initiated against Deputy Head of the Federal Penitentiary Service Directorate in the Saratov region, Aleksey Ryazantsev. This is reported by TASS referring to sources in law enforcement bodies. 

It is reported that Ryazantsev is suspected of frauds with housing. According to Head of the Department for Major Investigations of the ICR Investigations Directorate in the region, Anton Skoblikov, cited by Vzglyad-Info, the deputy head of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service Directorate took possession of an apartment by deception. 

Skoblikov noted that the crime was committed back in 2012. The swindling was solved by FSB and ICR officers. Ryazantsev was removed from office for the time of the investigation.
