Court arrested Lavochkin Association ex-director
Earlier, the Moscow City Court, which did not find grounds for Lemeshevsky’s imprisonment, returned the case to the court of the first instance.
The Babushkinsky court of Moscow arrested former director general of the Lavochkin Association Sergey Lemeshevsky. "To elect a measure of restraint in the form of the arrest for up to September 19," Interfax quotes the judge's decision.
Earlier, the Moscow City Court, which did not find grounds for Lemeshevsky’s imprisonment, returned the case to the court of the first instance. The court found no grounds for choosing a softer measure of restraint.
Sergey Lemeshevsky, accused of embezzling the funds of the Roscosmos state corporation, was arrested on July 26. Head of the Lavochkin Association Directorate Katerina Averyanova and head of the Tretyakov and Partners law firm Igor Tretyakov. The damage caused is estimated at 332.5 million rubles ($4.8m).
