Chelyabinsk transport companies convicted of large-scale fraud
A criminal case has been initiated against the founder of the private carrier company Pervaya Gildiya (First Guild).
Chelyabinsk police investigators are investigating a major fraud in the field of urban transport, Ura.ru reports, citing its own sources.
After investigation of the Chamber of Control and Accounts, which revealed the withdrawal of funds from the municipal structure to a commercial company, the investigators became interested in the municipal carrier Obschestvenny Gorodskoy Transport (Public City Transport) and the private carrier, Pervaya Gildiya. According to the investigation, the Pervaya Gildiya repaired city buses at inflated prices. In addition, the property of the municipal carrier was used by private companies without any grounds or documents.
The founder of the Pervaya Gildiya, who is also the deputy director of the Obschestvenny Gorodskoy Transport company Rustam Timurshin, has already become a defendant of a criminal case and a criminal case under the article “Abuse of authority.” It is known that Obschestvenny Gorodskoy Transport is headed by Dmitry Kholy, a deputy of the Chelyabinsk Duma. So far, the initiation of a criminal case against him is not reported. Investigators continue to identify all those involved in the crime.
Several new criminal cases against corrupt officials have been instituted in Dagestan.
