Case of 1.18 bln rubles embezzlement on Vostochniy spaceport removed to court
The General Prosecutor's Office (GP) approved the indictment.
The Prosecutor General's Office removed to the court a case of 1.18 billion rubles embezzlement allocated for the construction of the Vostochniy cosmodrome, said spokesman of the GP Alexander Kurennoj.
"Deputy Prosecutor General Viktor Grin confirmed the indictment on the criminal case against Andrey Yartsev. He is accused of committing a crime under art. Misappropriation,"- a statement claimed.
It is noted that Nikolay Shkadin is charged under art. Organization of Misappropriation and Vladimir Deniskin - under Aiding and Abetting to Misappropriation.
According to investigators, from August 2012 to October 2013, Head of the FSUE Spetsstroyservis under Spetsstroy Yartsev, general director of LLC Stroykonstruktsiya C Anatoly Ryazanov, director general of JSC Stroykonstruktsiya Shkadin, his deputy Novikov and FSO officer Deniskin stole more than 1.18 billion rubles during the implementation of contracts with Stroykonstruktsiya C for the supply of steel structures for the construction of the Vostochniy cosmodrome.
It is noted that in order to artificially inflate the price of the products, the chain of intermediary companies was created. In addition, it is alleged that they provided tender’s victories to controlled by accomplices commercial organization, which had no production capacity to meet the contract terms.
Earlier, it was reported that by the sentence of the court Ryazanov has already sentenced to four years in prison.
