Another defendant arrested in Arashukovs case
The acting head of Budennovskgazprombytservis JSC Uali Evgamukov is suspected of participating in fraudulent schemes aimed at the theft of natural gas.
Employees of the FSB and the Interior Ministry for Krasnodar Krai have detained the acting head of Budennovskgazprombytservis JSC Uali Evgamukov in the case of the former Adviser to the Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz OJSC Raul Arashukov and the ex-Senator Rauf Arashukov, Kommersant reports. Evgamukov and the executive director of the branch of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Stavropol LLC in Nevinnomyssk Umar Kalmykov were put on the wanted list back in February 2019.
Evgamukov was detained on the territory of Krasnodar Krai and taken to Karachay-Cherkessia. At the request of the investigation, the court arrested him for two months until November 3, 2019. The investigation suspects Evgamukov of involvement “in the implementation of fraudulent schemes for the theft of natural gas on an especially large scale.”
More than ten people have been arrested in the Arashukovs case of embezzlement of natural gas from Gazprom, Rauf Arashukov, ex-senator from Karachay-Cherkessia, is also suspected of orchestrating contract killings.
