Aeroflot deputy head and three other defendants accused of swindling
Using fictitious contracts, two top managers and two lawyers stole about $ 3,8 million.
The Investigative Committee accused deputy CEO of Aeroflot PJSC Vladimir Alexandrov, former director of the airline’s legal department Tatyana Davydova, lawyers from the Moscow Region bar association Vash Advocatsky Partner Alexander Slivko and Dina Kibets of swindling (part 4 of Article 159 CCRF), official spokeswoman of the ICR Svetlana Petrenko reports.
According to investigators, in 2015-2016, Aleksandrov and Davydova concluded four contracts for the provision of legal services with Slivko and Kibets, the work of which was actually carried out by Aeroflot’s legal department. Based on fictitious acts on performed work, the top managers transferred at least 250 million rubles ($ 3,8 million) to the hired lawyers, which were divided between four parties to the conspiracy, the investigation believes.
Investigators petitioned Moscow’s Basmanny District Court for the arrest of the defendants.
