Police lieutenant colonel stores heroin in gas stove

The FSB seized 62 grams of the drug and detained the suspect.

The ICR for the Omsk Region initiated a criminal case against a police lieutenant colonel over preparing a sale of a large batch of drugs. The detention operation was carried out by the FSB officers and operational-investigative units of the MIA’s internal security department for the region. They found 62 grams of heroin in the suspect’s gas stove.

“A criminal case has been initiated against the deputy head of the MIA department for the Nazyvaevsky District of the Omsk Region, who is suspected of committing a crime provided for in part 1 of Article 30 and part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (preparation for the sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale),” the press service of the ICR for the Omsk Region informs.

The detainee’s name is not disclosed. Investigators continue to clarify the circumstances of the crime.
