FSB stops interregional drug supply channel in Komi

The organizer of smuggling was detained with two kilograms of hashish.

In Komi, officers of the regional FSB Directorate stopped an interregional drug supply channel and detained a drug dealer with two kilograms of hashish who was trying to smuggle them into the republic. The seized drugs were supposed to be sold mainly in the Ukhta District, the BNKomi agency reports.

Syktyvkar’s City Court arrested the detained organizer of supplies. The investigative body of the republican FSB initiated a criminal case on the attempted illegal sale of drugs on a large scale (part 3 of Article 30, paragraph “g”, part 4 of Article 228.1 CCRF). The drug dealer faces from 10 to 20 years in prison.
