Chita: trial of drugdealers' OCG
To date, four members of an organized crime group have been brought to justice.
Law enforcement agencies of Chita finished investigating a criminal case against the organizer of the OCG Gazaryan and his three accomplices.
During the investigation, experts have determined that within a few months all four were engaged in the spread of synthetic drugs in the city. According to law enforcement agencies, drug dealers sold a substance derived from the N-methylephedrine.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor's Office in the Trans-Baikal region, to date all members of the OCG were arrested and placed in a pre-trial detention center. They were charged with Distribution and Manufacture of Drugs (Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code). Soon, the case file will be transferred to the Central District Court of Chita for consideration on the merits.
Recall, the organizer of the drug gang, Gazaryan, was arrested by operatives in December 2015. After his arrest, he made a deal with the investigation. It is noteworthy that the OCG functioned quite 'comfortable' after the lost of the leader - the remaining gang members continued to engage in drug sales. They attracted people, who hid doses in special places, posting online about the work.
Other members of the drug gang were detained in May last year.
On September 21, kingpin Vladimir Vagin, aka Vagon, hanged himself. Two years earlier another thief in law Max Pioner also committed suicide. Vagon's lawyer does not believe in the version of suicide and intends to apply for a forensic medical examination.
